Rev. Daniel Zylstra

Daniel is the solo pastor of Athens Christian Reformed Church in the small village of Athens, Ontario, Canada. He and his wife Gwyneth have been married since 1995, and have three children. Among his other pastoral duties, “Pastor Dan” (as he is known by his congregation) teaches pre-marriage classes, supports families as they live life together and journey in God’s path for them. Dan has also learned to cope with, by God’s strength, chronic depression for most of his adult life. He believes firmly in “God’s strength made complete in our weakness”, and also holds tightly to the promise that Jesus is the “way, the truth, and the life.”
