Grandchildren: Be a Living Example
I can't think of my grandmother apart from her faith as it was so much of who she was. I knew what mattered to her. Let your life be a living example for your children and grandchildren to follow.
Grandchildren: Take Interest
Stay involved in the activities of your grandchildren. Their interests may seem very different from your own, but don't let that deter you. Kids value adults taking an interest in their world.

What is Beauty?
5/23/11 Read Scripture Verse: Proverbs 31:30
We live in a culture that idolizes physical beauty. Health is discarded as we try to achieve a figure that our society considers attractive. Eating disorders are common as women struggle to maintain unrealistic body proportions. We are confronted everyday with advertisements trying to sell us …
Your Most Dangerous Weapon

Little House on the Freeway
I picked up this book looking for help on accomplishing more in my busy life. At the time I first picked up this book, I was working 12-hour shifts, caring for my husband and three young children, and was involved with numerous church programs. The book was eye-opening to me in the midst of my busyness. It helped me look at what really mattered in light of eternity. It helped me see I was carrying emotional burdens that I needed to set aside. It did not tell me how to get more into my day, but rather how to refocus my day with the healthier priorities. There was a lot of spiritual guidace in this book, helping me realign my choices so that I was drawn back to God, even in the insanity of that season of my life. I hope you find as much blessing in this book as I did.
