Little House on the Freeway
I picked up this book looking for help on accomplishing more in my busy life. At the time I first picked up this book, I was working 12-hour shifts, caring for my husband and three young children, and was involved with numerous church programs. The book was eye-opening to me in the midst of my busyness. It helped me look at what really mattered in light of eternity. It helped me see I was carrying emotional burdens that I needed to set aside. It did not tell me how to get more into my day, but rather how to refocus my day with the healthier priorities. There was a lot of spiritual guidace in this book, helping me realign my choices so that I was drawn back to God, even in the insanity of that season of my life. I hope you find as much blessing in this book as I did.
